Rose's Story

I came to a crossroads in my life that left me struggling financially with my teenage daughter while trying to start a new business in Reflexology. I knew I needed national certification to be successful but needed help preparing for my exam. I came to Literacy Volunteers and was matched up with my tutor, Deb. Deb helped me with test-taking strategies and taught me how to organize my study time. Thanks to Deb and Literacy Volunteers, my confidence has grown and opportunities are opening up for me.
